We started MedTrax because pharmacies need a solution for the DSCSA regulations. What Does a Subscription Give Me?
Secure Storage
Upload and attach any supporting documentation to a medication, or group of medications, to allow for easy reference. Attach invoices, sales records, or other documentation. Your storage is secure and your data is safe.
Interconnected Database
This is a fancy term created by legislators and the FDA to say we have connected our database to the databases of wholesalers and manufacturers to allow us to both receive purchase data (so you don’t have to type it) and send information requests (so we can verify your serial numbers are legitimate). It will also allow FDA regulators to look at product history in the event an illegitimate product is identified.
Reporting Capability
Easily complete FDA form 3911 to notify the FDA and your trading partners of suspected illegitimate products.
Validate Trading Partners
We automatically validate your trading partners so you can be sure you are buying from and selling to authorized partners. This simple step can save you many headaches later.
Customized Reports
We have a number of pre-built reports saved for you to easily view. You can also run customized reports to view the history of a specific medication, a group of medications, purchasing history or any other criteria you would like.
Process Outdates
Easily select or scan medications to create a return inventory. You can electronically transmit this inventory to the reverse distributor, print shipping labels and return authorization documents to finalize your shipment.
Returns processed with this system are eligible to receive 25% off your normal rate. Additionally, we have a prepayment option where the reverse distributor will credit you immediately upon transmission of your inventory!
You don’t even have to wait for the medications to ship!
Customized Recall Notices
Automatically get notified when a recall affects your pharmacy! MedTrax can’t pull the medications off your shelves (at least not yet) but we can notify you not just when a recall exists, but when an affected lot number or serial number was purchased by your pharmacy!
Hazardous Waste
View MSDS sheets and hazardous waste information.
Additionally, order hazardous waste disposal through your MedTrax portal. Scan or select the medications you need to dispose of to create an inventory. Then simply send in a service request for pickup and disposal.
Process Package Level Detail
The EPCIS data standard allows MedTrax to follow the grouping, ungrouping, and re-grouping of medications. This means if you purchased a case of medications, we track the case and every unit inside of it both as individual units and as a grouped unit.
